Steve Hightower is an award winning hair designer and is recognized as one of the finest hairdressers in Atlanta, Georgia.
Steve started his professional career in 1985 as a stylist. He began studying hairdressing with his mother in the kitchen and carport as a child in Alabama. He never attended cosmetology school. He choose to apprentice in some of the best salons in Buckhead. Using his God given talent and his college degree in art, Steve first specialized in hair color, skin tones, and texture.

Since true artists are never satisfied with anyone else's work, Steve started doing his own cuts utilizing his artistic background. He started sculpt cutting using the shape of the head, how the hair fell, and the hair texture.

Steve continued to climb the ladder of success with an excellent reputation for sculpt cutting and color when he discovered treatments and remedies for fine and thinning hair.

Steve has enhanced his professional skills by becoming a specialist in treating fine and thinning hair. Seventy five percent of his clients have fine and thinning hair. They are amazed at what can be done to improve this situation. Most say, " I never thought there was anything that could be done to make my hair look so beautiful." A professional application of the right product does create a change in the physical dimension of the hair, but the rest is Steve's magic. Seeing the joy in client's faces has made this become his love and professional passion.

Garri started her career in 1998 as a personal assistant to Steve Hightower. Steve personally trained Garri as his right hand. Garri assisted Steve at his salons in Atlanta and Sea Island as well as at hair shows in New York, and Chicago.

Her extensive training has included instruction from Loreal Professional Color and Thermal and Keratin Straightening. Garri has also studied under world renowned Up-do Specialist Martin Parsons. Her Up Styles have made Garri one of Atlanta's top wedding stylist. Her cutting talents include French Sculpt Cutting and Precision Cutting. Garri is also certified by Great Lengths Hair Extension. Her extensive training has helped create a wide range of artistic services. With great training and vast experience, Garri has become a solo Master Stylist. Garri is truly a hairstylist with exceptional talent.

Lead Colorist / Master Stylist
Brian's started his career in 2004 as a personal asissant to Steve Hightower. Under the guidance of Hightower and L'Oreal Professionnel Brian is now a Master Stylist and Colorist. Brian has attended many cutting/styling events, advance color classes and shows in New York as well as assissanting behind stage for hair & fashion show.

Brian's knowledge of skin care is excellent. He attends all education classes for Repechage and Babor skin care.

Master Stylists & wig specialist
Paul Trantham is from Anniston, Alabama and was licensed as a stylist in 1968. Paul is presently Master Stylist and manager of Steve Hightower Hair Artist's Studio

He is a precision cutter who specializes in working with wigs and hairpieces.

Paul was the wig stylist for the Shakespeare Festival for 4 years. He was also a stylist for many other theatrical stage performances in local productions. He loves the creativity of working with different textures and the ability to transform hair from one time period to another.

Now Paul uses his wig talent to help people with cancer and other conditions that may need a wig or hairpiece.

Paul owned his own salon for 23 years. He sold his salon in 2009.

He was a platform artist for Wella and Zotos and led and directed fashions show for local affiliate for four years.

He has also been a stylist in many Bridal Fashion shows in Atlanta.

His honors and achievements include:

• He served in several positions as an officer in the Atlanta chapter of the National Cosmetologist Association (Historian, Vice President, President) and was an Officer at state level for National Cosmetologist Association (Sergeant At Arms)
• He served as stylist for the Extravaganza at the Grand Finale of the Dixie Hair Show in Atlanta
• He won four top awards from Georgia Educational Committee
• He taught new style/trends to cosmetologist in connection with Georgia Educational Committee
• He was a stylist for "LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER" program with Cancer patients for three years.

Paul is a guest stylist at Steve Hightower Hair at Sea Island Georgia every five weeks.

Master Stylist and Colorist
Rachel, has been a master stylist since 2003. She loves doing beautiful hair. Since childhood, she has been interested in doing hair. She specializes in precision cutting and color. She attended the Chattahoochee Technical College for cosmetology and graduated with honors. She has also had extensive education in the color and precision cutting. Rachel is passionate about doing color that accentuates the client's cut. She finds that the right color makes their overall look complete. Her color work is very natural and is absolutely beautiful. Rachel has also been a major part of numerous hair and fashion shows in Atlanta.

Master Stylist, Colorist and Special Occasion Hair
Ashlee graduated from The Lindsey Institute of Cosmetology and started her career in 2006. She was class valedictorian. She also attended Western Kentucky University. Ashlee has been a leading educator for two of the beauty industry's leading lines. Her cuts are precision and on point. Her color and foil work is perfection. Ashlee has worked in many fields of the beauty industry. She has done fashion shows, films, radio advertisements, bridal shows and charitable events.

Master Stylist
Cheri Davis has been a well established and highly regarded master stylist in Atlanta for more than 26 years. She is originally from Hawaii and is also a current licensed real estate agent.

With an artist eye, Cheri is also an expert colorist and Make-up artist. She will formulate beautiful color for your hair and face that will enhance your beauty as well as compliment your lifesyle.

Cheri owned her own salon for several years and is now happy to be working with our creative team environment receiving education monthly. Stylist Junior Master
Drew discovered she had a natural talent for hair in her early childhood. She grew up assisting in her mother's hair salon in Gainesville Ga. As Drew became a young adult her passion for hair and the beauty industry became her main focus and she moved to Atlanta. Drew became a master stylist in 2010. She is an excellent colorist and personal assistant to Steve Hightower. She also travels with Steve to his second location in Sea Island, GA.

She has attended many advanced cutting, coloring, smoothing treatments and hair extension classes. She focuses on creating beautiful styles and restoring and maintaining healthy hair. Staying current on today's fashion trends, cuts, colors, and top of the line products are important to her, but she also knows the beauty in true, classic hair styling.

Lash Specialist
Robyn is a licensed master cosmetologist in the state of Georgia. She focused her attention on lash extensions after becoming addicted herself. Robyn specializes in synthetic mink extensions as she feels that they provide the most beautiful, natural look while preserving the integrity of the natural lash. Compared to the typical lash extension, they are feather-light, softer, and more glamorous. She doesn't "count" lashes like other extension technicians but rather customizes extensions to fit your needs. Shara Stevenson is licensed manicurist in both Georgia, and California. Shara started her career in beauty in 1999. She attended Citrus College in California where she obtained training in esthetics, and became a licensed esthetician. Lee moved from Birmingham to Atlanta in September of 2009. He enjoys one on one customer service.
