Stacy Smolensky is thrilled to be a part of the Steve Hightower Hair Artists' Studio team.

Stacy comes from a family background of hairstylists. Her aunt and cousin are in the beauty industry and were very influential in her younger years. Her passion for hair continued after studying education in college.

Stacy apprenticed in Houston under award winning salon owner and stylist Mr. Alden Clark. She studied at the Houston Training School of Beauty to complete her cosmetology training and mentored classmates in preparation for state board examinations.

She has done hair shows in Houston including the Hair Show Expo. She has also studied baylage highlighting with baylage master George Walker for 6 months.

Her love of doing hair is heartfelt. Her personal frustration with her own hair lead her to study ways to make hair, especially curly hair, beautiful.

She loves helping others feel better about themselves and teaching them how to recreate wonderful hair between salon visits.
