Steve Hightower is an award winning hair designer and is recognized as one of the finest hairdressers in Atlanta, Georgia.
Steve started his professional career in 1985 as a stylist. He began studying hairdressing with his mother in the kitchen and carport as a child
in Alabama. He never attended cosmetology school. He choose to apprentice in some of the best salons in Buckhead. Using his God given talent and
his college degree in art, Steve first specialized in hair color, skin tones, and texture.
Since true artists are never satisfied with anyone else's work, Steve started doing his own cuts utilizing his artistic background.
He started sculpt cutting using the shape of the head, how the hair fell, and the hair texture.
Steve continued to climb the ladder of success with an excellent reputation for sculpt cutting and color when he discovered treatments and remedies for fine and thinning hair.
Steve has enhanced his professional skills by becoming a specialist in treating fine and thinning hair. Seventy five percent of his clients have fine and thinning hair. They are amazed at what can be done to improve this situation. Most say, " I never thought there was anything that could be done to make my hair look so beautiful." A professional application of the right product does create a change in the physical dimension of the hair, but the rest is Steve's magic. Seeing the joy in client's faces has made this become his love and professional passion.
Known for his passion and talent for hair, he has taught across the United States as a Platform Artist and National Educator for Mediceuticals. Mediceuticals is the only product line in the beauty industry that is FDA approved to stop hair loss and grow hair. Steve's salon is also the first and only salon that has the Hair Laser for regrowth in Atlanta.

The philosophy at Steve Hightower's Hair Artists' Studio can be summed up in one phrase: 'team work'. Team play is a must. Where one artist
can create a satisfactory experience for a client, a team can create a memorable experience.
Understanding the importance of continued education, Steve encourages the individual team members to develop as stylists. He often teaches individual employees the latest and best hair and skin techniques, empowering them to provide their customers with the best service possible. He sends staff member s to educational seminars in New York and has national educators to come to the salon for staff training.
